I’ve had this amaryllis since my youngest daughter was born 25 years ago and it blooms every year. And it always surprises me: it will put out one leaf sometime in December to tell me it’s ready to be watered, then just sit there for a couple of months. I noticed new growth last week and took a photo, but it wasn’t very interesting on its own. So I processed it with Snapseed to bring out the transparency of the leaves and darken the background a bit to make the plant stand out. That was pretty good, but when I ran it through Waterlogue I created this beautiful image.
