I was cooking fava beans and added some olive oil. The oil was making such interesting patterns that I had to stop and take some photos. Then I processed this one with Snapseed to create this interesting image.

I’ve had this amaryllis since my youngest daughter was born 25 years ago and it blooms every year. And it always surprises me: it will put out one leaf sometime in December to tell me it’s ready to be watered, then just sit there for a couple of months....
